The Chapel at Tlaquepaque is one of Sedona’s most intimate places to say I do. Carved wood doors, a bell tower, stained glass, and a courtyard shaded by giant sycamores. It feels centuries old and it photographs like a dream.

Where we set up
Tlaquepaque is a ceremony and reception venue rather than a hotel, so most brides get ready at a nearby resort, inn, or vacation rental and arrive at the chapel photo ready. I come to you there. L’Auberge and the Uptown hotels are only minutes away.
Bridal party logistics
Chapel weddings tend to be smaller, which makes for a relaxed morning. I work through the bridal party in order, with the bride last so your look is freshest for the ceremony and courtyard portraits.
Arrival and access
Tlaquepaque sits on Highway 179 just south of the Y, and parking fills up quickly on weekends. Plan to leave your getting ready location with a cushion of time. I finish you early enough to make that easy.

We are eloping. Is that too small?
Not at all. Elopements and micro weddings are a big part of what I do. Bride only bookings are welcome.
Will my style last through the courtyard reception?
Yes. Every look is set and finished to last from the ceremony through the last dance. Clean, fully dry hair on the morning of the wedding helps it hold even longer.
Can you work with a veil or floral piece?
Always. Bring your veil, comb, or florals to your preview if you have one, or send photos ahead of time so the style is built around them.
