Wedding Hair at L’Auberge de Sedona wedding hair, on location
Creekside cottages, sycamore shade, and styles built to hold along Oak Creek. I come to your cottage or the Creekhouse.
L’Auberge de Sedona sits on the banks of Oak Creek beneath towering sycamores and cottonwoods. It is one of the most romantic places in Arizona to get married, and one of my favorite places to style a bride.
Whether you are exchanging vows on the Creekhouse Lawn, the Cottageside Lawn, or up at the Vista Overlook with Snoopy Rock behind you, I come to your cottage or suite on the property so your morning stays calm and unhurried. You never leave the creek.
Getting ready at L’Auberge
Where we set up
Most of my L’Auberge brides get ready in a creekside cottage or in the Creekhouse, the private multi bedroom enclave with a large deck over the water. Both have beautiful natural light. I set up near a window with a power outlet close by.
Bridal party logistics
The Creekhouse is ideal for larger bridal parties because everyone can gather in one common area while I work through the schedule. For cottage weddings, I keep the setup compact and move as needed.
Arrival and access
L’Auberge is just off Highway 89A at the north edge of Uptown. I arrive early with everything needed. Please share your cottage number and any check in details when you book.
Ready by time
Tell me when you need to be photo ready and I build the schedule backward from there. Creekside first looks and sunset ceremonies at the Vista Overlook both work beautifully with a well planned morning.
Styles that suit the creek
The air along Oak Creek is cooler and a little more humid than the rest of Sedona, especially in the morning and after monsoon rain. That matters for hair. Soft waves and romantic textured updos hold their shape best here, and I prep every style with humidity in mind so it lasts from your first look through your last dance.
Popular looks for L’Auberge weddings include loose boho waves with face framing pieces, low textured chignons with fresh florals, and polished half up styles that photograph beautifully against the sycamores. For brides with fine hair, I recommend extensions for fullness and longevity. We can talk through all of it at your preview.
Pricing for L’Auberge weddings
L’Auberge is within Sedona proper, so on location service is included with no travel fee. Services beginning before 7:00 AM carry an early morning fee of $100.
Common questions from L’Auberge brides
Do you travel to the resort?
Yes. I style on location at L’Auberge for every wedding I book there. You stay in your cottage and I come to you.
How early should we start?
Plan on roughly 45 minutes to an hour per person, with the bride styled last so your look is freshest for photos. I confirm exact start times in your proposal.
Can you do a preview?
Absolutely. Previews are available on their own or bundled with your wedding day. Many destination brides schedule the preview the day before the wedding.
What about the humidity by the creek?
I prep and set every style for creekside conditions. Clean, fully dry hair on the morning of the wedding is the most important thing you can do to help it last.
