How Much Does Wedding Hair Cost in Sedona?

The short answer: bridal hair with me starts at $395, each additional styled guest is $195, and most Sedona brides spend somewhere between $600 and $1,600 for the whole morning depending on how many people are in the chair. Travel within Sedona is included. Here is exactly how that adds up.

I publish my prices because planning a Sedona wedding from out of town is hard enough without guessing. Everything below is what you would see in your proposal. No hidden fees, no surprises on the invoice.

Three real wedding mornings

Elopement, bride only

Wedding Day Hair at $395. If you want a preview the day before so the morning has zero guesswork, the package is $649 for both. Many Cathedral Rock and Lantern Light Inn brides choose this.

Bride, three bridesmaids, and mom

$395 for the bride plus four styled guests at $195 each comes to $1,175. This is the most common size I see at L’Auberge, Enchantment, and Sky Ranch Lodge.

Full party with Hollywood waves

GlamWave bride at $449, six bridesmaids and mom at $195 each, and two flower girls at $79 each comes to $1,972. Agave of Sedona and The Little Daisy weddings often look like this.

What each of those includes

My travel within Sedona, all setup, every product and pin, a schedule built around your ready by time, and prep notes for everyone the week of the wedding.

What changes the price

How many people are in the chair. This is the biggest factor by far. Each styled guest adds $195 and roughly 45 minutes to the morning, which also decides how early we start.

The style you choose. Hollywood waves and the bridal blowout are $449 instead of $395 because they take longer and use more product to hold their shape. Soft waves, braids, half up styles, and updos are all covered by Wedding Day Hair.

Extensions. If you wear extensions daily, bring them and there is no extra charge to style them in. If you want extensions added for the wedding, especially for fine hair or GlamWave, we talk through options at your preview and I quote them separately.

Early starts and holidays. Services that begin before 7:00 AM carry a $100 early morning fee. Weddings on observed holidays carry a $100 holiday fee. Sunrise elopements usually trigger the early fee, and in my experience the light is worth it.

Where you are getting ready. On location service within Sedona proper and the Village of Oak Creek is included. Weddings farther out, like The Little Daisy in Jerome, are considered case by case and any travel is quoted in your proposal before you sign anything.

A preview. Previews are optional. Booked on their own they are $295. Bundled with your wedding day they are $649 for both, which saves $41 and, more importantly, removes every unknown from the morning.

How booking and payment work

Holding your date

A signed contract and a $200 retainer reserve your date on my calendar. The retainer is applied to your balance and is nonrefundable, because once your date is booked I turn away other weddings for it.

Final headcount

Headcount and the remaining balance are confirmed 30 days before the wedding. You can add people after that if the schedule allows. Balances paid after that point are nonrefundable.

Paying the balance

The remaining balance is invoiced one week before your wedding and is due at that time. I accept Zelle and Venmo, and card payments through HoneyBook.

If plans change

Cancellations more than 30 days out forfeit only the retainer. Within 30 days the full balance is due, since the date can no longer be rebooked.

Is a preview worth it?

For most brides, yes. A preview is an unhurried hour where we try the look, adjust it, photograph it from every angle, and talk through your veil, florals, and extensions. On the wedding morning I am recreating something we have already perfected rather than inventing it under a clock.

Destination brides often schedule the preview the day before the wedding, once they have arrived in Sedona. If a preview is not practical, we plan the look together from photos and a call, and that works beautifully too.

Common questions about pricing

Is there a travel fee in Sedona?

No. On location service within Sedona proper and the Village of Oak Creek is included in every price above. I come to your resort, inn, rental, or wherever you are getting ready.

Can I book a preview without booking the wedding?

Yes. A preview on its own is $295. If you decide to book the wedding afterward, we can talk about applying the package rate.

What if my headcount changes?

Tell me as soon as you know. Headcount is finalized 30 days out. Adding someone later is usually fine if the schedule has room; removing someone after that point does not change the balance.
