Enchantment Resort is tucked into Boynton Canyon, surrounded by red rock walls on three sides and open desert sky above. It is a destination wedding venue in every sense, and I bring the full styling experience to your casita.
From ceremonies at Enchantment Circle with its sweeping canyon views to intimate elopements on the Wedding Knoll, Enchantment weddings are all about the landscape. Your hair should look effortless in that setting and stay that way in the canyon breeze. That is exactly what I plan for.
Getting ready at Enchantment
Where we set up
Most brides get ready in their casita or in a larger suite reserved for the bridal party. The casitas have lovely natural light and plenty of room for a compact styling station near a mirror and outlet.
Bridal party logistics
For larger parties I recommend gathering everyone in one suite so the morning stays social and I can keep the schedule moving. If attendants are spread across casitas, we plan the order so no one is waiting around.
Arrival and access
Enchantment is at the end of Boynton Canyon Road in West Sedona, about 20 minutes from Uptown. The resort has a gate, so please pass along guest access details and your casita number when you book.
Ready by time
Sunset ceremonies at Enchantment are stunning but the light moves fast in the canyon. Share your ceremony and photo times and I build a schedule with breathing room built in.
Styles that suit the canyon
Boynton Canyon can be breezy, especially in the late afternoon when most ceremonies happen. Styles with some structure hold up best here. Textured updos, braided details, and low chignons stay beautiful in the wind, and soft waves work wonderfully when they are set properly and finished for hold.
The red rock backdrop is dramatic, so I often lean toward looks with clean lines and a little polish so your face and your dress stay the focus in photos. Romantic, editorial, never stiff. If you are dreaming of Hollywood waves, I strongly recommend extensions for fullness and staying power through the evening.
Pricing for Enchantment weddings
Enchantment Resort is within Sedona proper, so on location service is included with no travel fee. Services beginning before 7:00 AM carry an early morning fee of $100.

Do you come to the resort?
Yes. I style on location at Enchantment. You stay in your casita, enjoy the canyon, and I come to you with everything needed.
How do you handle the wind?
I choose styles and products with the canyon in mind and finish every look for hold. Structured updos and braided details are the most wind proof options if that is a concern.
Can we do a preview the day before?
Yes. Many destination brides schedule the preview the day before the wedding, once they have arrived and settled in. It is a relaxed hour to finalize the look together.
Do you style mothers and guests?
Of course. Moms, grandmothers, bridesmaids, and flower girls are all welcome on the schedule. Just include the headcount in your inquiry.
